Top 5 Tuesday: Books on your wishlist

Hey, guys!
It’s Tuesday, which means it’s time for a bookish favorites post. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Meeghan over on Meeghan Reads and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
Today we’re gonna talk about some novels that are lurking on my wishlist!

#1 Rule of Wolves

I’ve already mentioned a time or two (or 798645) that I love Leigh Bardugo’s books. Shame on me for not yet having read the latest release, Rule of Wolves. I have a super pretty copy of King of Scars, so I’d love to get the actual book to match instead of just an e-book.

#2 How the King of Elfhame learned to hate Stories

I mentioned last week that I already read this one. However, I did so in e-book form. Turns out, this little thing contains a lot of stunningly beautiful illustrations and an e-book of course cannot do that justice. So, I’d love to get my hands on a printed copy.

Top 5 Tuesday: Books on my Holiday Wishlist

Hey, guys!
It’s Tuesday, which means it’s time for a bookish favorites posts. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Meeghan over on Meeghan Reads and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
Today we’ll talk about some stuff on my holiday wishlist. For me, that means browsing through my Goodreads tbr pile and prioritizing some stuff. 😅 Since I obviously haven’t read any of the books yet, I’ll leave you with the description provided by Goodreads!

#1 Fangs

A new gothic romance story from the creator of the enormously popular Sarah’s Scribbles comics.

Vamp is three hundred years old but in all that time, she has never met her match. This all changes one night in a bar when she meets a charming werewolf. FANGS chronicles the humor, sweetness, and awkwardness of meeting someone perfectly suited to you but also vastly different.

#2 Crescent City

Bound by blood.
Tempted by desire.
Unleashed by destiny.

Bryce Quinlan had the perfect life—working hard all day and partying all night—until a demon murdered her closest friends, leaving her bereft, wounded, and alone. When the accused is behind bars but the crimes start up again, Bryce finds herself at the heart of the investigation. She’ll do whatever it takes to avenge their deaths.

Hunt Athalar is a notorious Fallen angel, now enslaved to the Archangels he once attempted to overthrow. His brutal skills and incredible strength have been set to one purpose—to assassinate his boss’s enemies, no questions asked. But with a demon wreaking havoc in the city, he’s offered an irresistible deal: help Bryce find the murderer, and his freedom will be within reach.

As Bryce and Hunt dig deep into Crescent City’s underbelly, they discover a dark power that threatens everything and everyone they hold dear, and they find, in each other, a blazing passion—one that could set them both free, if they’d only let it.

Top 5 Tuesday: Dear Santa – I would like these 5 Books!

Hey, guys!
It’s Tuesday, that means it’s time for a bookish favorites posts. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Shanah Bionic Book Worm and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
For Shanah’s final T5T (I’ll be improvising next week), I’ll share some of the novels from this year’s Christmas wishlist!

#1 We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson

The first time I heard about this novel was when the trailer for the adaptation (hello Sebastian Stan!) came out. The film promised to be intriguing, but – as always – I want to read the book first. And just look at that cover! How could this be anything short of amazing?

#2 Kill ‘Em All by John Niven

I’ve read a fair share of John Niven books over the years, Kill Your Friends among them. I liked every one of his novels, so there is no question that I absolutely have to read the sequel to KYF asap!
