Hey guys! I finally found the time to sit down and inform you of my very important thoughts on the second season of Disney+’s The Mandalorian. Let’s see what Baby Yoda has been up to! Oh yeah, and Mando too!
The Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire.
Well, this season was quite a ride. I’ll be perfectly honest. I wasn’t fully on board with the first episodes and still have some criticism but the last few episodes really pulled the ship around for me. Also, there will be quite a few spoilers from here on, so continue to read at your own risk. 😉
Hello, my darling readers! Catching up with all the reviews I meant to write ages ago, I proudly present to you The Mandalorian – one of the most hyped shows of 2019. Was it good? Was it bad? Let’s see!
This show follows the titular Mandalorian bounty hunter and his exploits across the galaxy…
Okay, so hands down, I only came for baby yoda. As much as the show tried to built up the big reveal of Mando’s face, sorry, I don’t care. Let’s be real, Disney should have called it the Baby Yoda Show. That precious green nugget took the internet and my heart by storm.
Of course, it’s super obvious that this was a marketing thing Disney did and Baby Yoda is their latest cash cow. But you know what? I am not even made. Baby Yoda is just far too adorable.
Hey, guys! Welcome to another entry for Thursday Movie Picks. It’s a series hosted by Wandering Through the Shelves, so if you want to join the party, head over to her blog! It’s pretty easy: check out each week’s topic and come up with 3 to 5 TV shows that fit the theme. Today I’ll talk about some of my favorite new shows of 2019!
This one certainly was a surprise. I was hooked from the first moment on and couldn’t wait to explore that world further. I even picked up the graphic novel to learn more about Watchmen. The only word to adequately describe this show is impressive!
#2 The Mandalorian
Let’s be real here: the show is called The Mandalorian but we’re all just here for Baby Yoda. Disney might as well have named it The Baby Yoda Show. I’m not even mad! It’s a fun show, with cool ideas and characters and Baby Yoda is a precious little nugget that needs to be protected at all costs.
