#1 The Illyrian Babies in the ACOTAR-Series:

Rhy, Cassian, and Azriel. Not only are they amazing characters on their own, they also have this brilliant friendship. Everything about them gives me a fluffy warm feeling in my ovaries.

#2 Ron, Hermione and Harry from the Harry Potter books:

They are top-notch friendship goals. Not only do I love the fact that every one of them brings something different to the table but they still are a great match. I also recognize myself a lot in Hermione and really wish I had friends like that!

Book vs Movie: Lord of the Rings – The Fellowship of the Ring

Yesterday I finally finished reading J. R. R. Tolkien’s first installment of The Lord of the Rings. Once I was done I immediately went on to re-watch Peter Jackson’s epic adaptation of a book considered impossible to be turned into a movie. Here’s what I thought:

 

The Plot:

Dark forces are rising again in Middle Earth. Everybody is in danger as Sauron is searching for his one ring that allows him to rule over all the free peoples.
The fate of them all know depends on a little Hobbit who was entrusted to destroy the ring. Along with eight companies he sets out for Mount Doom.

Stacking my Bookshelf for 2015

The new year is approaching and so it’s time to set up my reading list for 2015!

 

1. I want to finish the A Song of Ice and Fire series. Currently I’m readint the third part, so everthing after that is on my 2015 list!

2. The Hobbit was on my movie watch list for 2014 so I decided it’s time to finally read The Lord of the Rings. Continue reading
