#1 The Gift

It’s been a very long time since I’ve last seen this film, but when I read the theme, this one was on top of my head. I do remember it being quite interesting!

#2 The Sixth Sense

I bet The Sixth Sense will be popular this week. It’s probably one of the most famous films that features a character with psychic powers.

To continue the horror topics that traditional for October, today I bring you a bunch of movies that are based on or were inspired by true events!

#1 The Exorcism of Emily Rose

Super creepy and haunting exorcism film, which is inspired by the death of a German woman.

#2 The Conjuring

The paranormal investigators from this franchise are based on a real-life couple and therefore, the events depicted in the films are also supposedly true.

Movie Mania: The Conjuring

Hey guys! It’s October, the month of Halloween. The only way to kick it off is by checking out some horror movies. So let’s take a look at The Conjuring!

The Plot: The Perron family movies into a new home. However, their happiness is only shortlived. Some entity starts haunting and hurting them. Will the demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren be able to save the Perrons?

The Rating: I’ve seen my fair share of horror movies. And as far as the whole haunted house stuff goes, The Conjuring isn’t too bad. It’s certainly not the most frigthening or innovative film out there but it pretty decent. I really liked Vera Farmiga’s performance as Lorraine and also the actresses who played the kids did extremely well. The film features a nice amount of creep and you will jump several times. To be honest, I hadn’t expected it to be this good.

Movie Mania: Annabell

Halloween’s just around the corner so I thought I’d share y thoughts on a horror movie I saw recently. This 2014 movie is the prequel to “The Conjuring”. So far I haven’t seen this film but it’s on my list 😉
