It took me a while but finally it is here. The second installment of my most beloved TV show couples! (Click here for Part 1)
#6 Jeannie and Major Nelson (I Dream of Jeannie):
Although this show aired a little before my time, I absolutely adore it. Barbara Eden plays Jeannie, a 2000 year old genie. Major Nelson becomes her new master and the two fall in love. It’s one of those classic sitcoms that you can’t help but fall for. The unlikely couples faces lots of problems but eventually the even get married!
#5 Becky and Jesse (Full House):
I grew up watching Full House and following this couple along their way. Jesse is the coolest guy out there and Becky is a TV journalist. Although they may not the obvious match, they a wonderful relationship and in the later seasons even two cute children. Becky was always one of my favourite TV characters when I was young (and not only because we have the same name 😉 ).
About half an eternity ago I did a post where I described myself in 3 TV show characters. Today I’m going to continue: it’s movie time!
Hermione Granger (Harry Potter):
I remember seeing the movie in theaters and thinking: That is so me. Her attitude, her looks, her ambition. Even the sarcastic comments and that she’s constantly correcting everybody. Although I may not be that hyper-motivated when it comes to studying, I’m always well prepared and ahead of time. 100% me.
Beetlejuice is one of my all time favourite Tim Burton films. He’s one of my favourite directors and for this movie he got Winona Ryder on board. I love almost all of her 80s and 90s flicks but her role as Lydia is the most relatable for me. She has no friends, a taste for the dark and unusual. I was (and I guess I still am) a very weird kid with a slight obsession for the obscure. So yeah, you see the connection…
Hey my lovely readers! Today I bring you my favourite TV moms. Be sure to come back in a few days to read about the best TV dads!
6. Endora (Bewitched):
In Bewitched, a lovely show about a witch marrying a human, she portrays Samantha’s mother, who is less than happy about her daughter’s choice. Endora only wants the best for her and is simply hilarious with her comments about humans. But she still accepts and supports her daughter’s decision, no matter what.
