Hello Folks!
That’s it, I finally finished Rick Riordan’s Heroes of Olympus series. Although I was super excited to find out what will happen next, I didn’t want to finish the book and say goodbye to all those amazing characters! Was The Blood of Olympus a worthy end for an impressive Pentalogy?
The Plot:
The demigods have to face their biggest battle. Gaia is waking. While Leo, Piper, Jason, Percy, Annabeth, Hazel and Frank follow the prophecy to the ancient lands, Reyna, Nico and Coach hedge have a different task at hand: to prevent war between the camps and bring the Athena Parthenos halfway across the world to Half-Blood Hill. While any of them complete the impossible tasks at hand?
The Rating:
So, this is the last time I get to talk about how much I love Greek mythology. What Rick Riordan really excels at, is weaving bits of story together. Not only did he pick up ancient myths and transfer them to today, he also managed to pick up stuff from his past books and perfectly tied it into the last novel in the series without it seeming repetitive or unoriginal.
