Thursday Movie Picks: Child Actors Venturing Out of Typecasting

This week I’ll talk about child actors who ventured out of their formerly typecasted roles. Out of all the TMP posts this year, this one was hardest one for me. So, please bear with my rather weird choices!

#1 Swiss Army Man – Daniel Radcliffe

After growing up being Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe made a drastic change to his image by appearing in Swiss Army Man. Just check out the trailer and you’ll see what I mean.

#2 Sin City – Elijah Wood

After playing rather adorable and dorky characters for most of his career, Elijah Wood took a different turn with Sin City. The boy who played Huckleberry Finn and appeared in Oliver Twist and Flipper was probably killed by the guy Wood plays in Sin City.
