Top 5 Tuesday: books about a birth

It’s Tuesday, which means it’s time for a bookish favorites post. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Meeghan over on Meeghan Reads and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
Today we’re talking about books in which the story features an important birth. Coming up with enough picks was a bit of a challenge and Google certainly wasn’t helpful either as it only kept suggesting books about giving birth. 😅 So, please excuse my less than creative picks this week!

#1 Good Omens

What better birth to start off with than the one of the antichrist? While I wasn’t blown away by the book version of Good Omens, I loved the adaptation. Especially the scenes where the birth is impending are iconic!

#2 A Dirty Job

Okay, so this pick is a bit of a stretch. First of all, I read this book in 2016 and I can’t remember all too much about it. But I dimly recall that it does feature the protagonist’s infant daughter, and she must have been born at some point, right? Also, the tiny baby grim reaper on the cover is so adorable, I had to include A Dirty Job.
