Thursday Movie Picks: 2020 Releases

Hey, guys!
Welcome to another entry for Thursday Movie Picks.
It’s a series hosted by Wandering Through the Shelves, so if you want to join the party, head over to her blog! It’s pretty easy: check out each week’s topic and come up with 3 to 5 movies that fit the theme.
There were so many movies I looked forward to in 2020, more them half of them still haven’t dropped. Nevertheless, there were so pretty good films that did manage to come out. So let’s talk about some of those!

#1 Birds of Prey

You have no idea how excited I was to see this film. And it certainly didn’t dissapoint. It’s bright, loud, colorful, has an amazing soundtrack, kickass leading ladies and is just all around hell of a good time!

#2 Enola Holmes

I never cease to be surprised by how talented Millie Bobby Brown is. After seeing her in Stranger Things, I had a feeling that she’s destined for greatness. With Enola Holmes she once more demonstrates her abilities. She stars together with big names like Helena Bonham Carter or Henry Cavill but she easily plays them all against a wall!

Today I’ll tell you about my most anticipated books of 2020!

#1 – The Boundless by Anna Bright (The Beholder #2)

I basically devoured The Beholder by Anna Bright so I can’t wait for the next installment. The story so far was smart, inventive and left me longing for more.

#2 – The next ACOTAR book by Sarah J. Maas

You all may know by now that I quite liked the ACOTAR books. Apparently, Sarah J. Maas is gracing us with something on that front this year!
