Top 5 Tuesday: things a bookworm would NEVER do

Hey, guys!
It’s Tuesday, which means it’s time for a bookish favorites post. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Meeghan over on Meeghan Reads and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
With this month’s final post we conclude our mini-series about bookworms! Let’s take a look at some things they would never do. I feel like out of all the posts so far, this one is extremely particular to me and some of the things I list are probably very divisive in the reading community. 😅

#1 Fold a Page

I absolutely hate it when people fold the edge of a page to mark where they left off. If you love your books please don’t do that. 😭

#2 Break the Spine

In a similar vein, all my books look pristine even those that I read more than once. Sometimes a little cracking on the spine is inevitable but some people just completely fold things over and it breaks my heart every time I see that.

#3 Write in a Book

I know a lot of people love to mark things in books they enjoy, make little annotations, etc.
But as you can tell by now I want my books to look like they are brand spanking new at all times. So, my bookworm heart would never ever allow me to write in a book.

#4 Say “I have enough books”

I think we might all be guilty of this one. Yes, we all already have more books than we can read. Will we still accumulate more? Most definitely.

#5 Say “It’s just a story”

Sometimes a book makes you feel all the feels. There’s no way somebody who loves reading goes through stories completely unaffected. 😅

What’s a thing you’d say a bookworm would never do? Let me know in the comments!
