Top 5 Tuesday: books with swords

Hey, guys!
It’s Tuesday, which means it’s time for a bookish favorites post. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Meeghan over on Meeghan Reads and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
Can you believe that we are already halfway through August?!
Well, today we are going to talk about some books with crowns on the cover today!

#1 A Dance with Dragons

Can’t do a post about books with swords on the cover without a famous fantasy series, right?!

#2 Percy Jackson and the Sword of Hades

I read all the Percy Jackson books and love them. Not gonna lie though, I have no recollection of this particular one, but according to Goodreads I read it!

#3 Magnus Chase and the Sword of Summer

Rick Riordan – who wrote the Percy Jackson novels – also wrote the Magnus Chase series. Since I am such a sucker for everything mythology I obviously was all over this when it came out!

#4 The Shadows Between Us

This came to me in a book subscription box and I absolutely couldn’t put it down once I had started reading. Also, I’m just in love with the cover art!

#5 Sorcery of Thorns

Pretty much the same goes for Sorcery of Thorns. I loved it from first to last page. While many of the books you get in those boxes are the first in a series and I was not that happy about it (mainly because I hate waiting for the next book and kept forgetting about new releases), this is one where I really wished we’d have a sequel.

What’s your favorite book with a sword on the cover? Let me know in the comments!
