Top 5 Tuesday: books with crowns

Hey, guys!
It’s Tuesday, which means it’s time for a bookish favorites post. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Meeghan over on Meeghan Reads and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
This week we’re going to tackle some books that have crowns on the cover!

#1 Incendiary

This book has been on my tbr pile for ages! I got it a while ago in a book subscription box and even though I haven’t actually picked it up yet, I immediately remembered the beautiful when I read this week’s prompt.

#2 The Wicked King

I’ve talked about Holly Black’s The Folk of the Air series a million times on this blog, so you’ll probably know by now that I love these books. Naturally, I had to include the gorgeous cover of The Wicked King for this post!

#3 The Princess Diaries

Next up we have The Princess Diaries. The cover is a perfect match for this week’s topic, but I’m not gonna lie, I didn’t enjoy this book. I was familiar with the story via the movie which is so cute and charming. The novel on the other hand was mostly annoying and had me roll my eyes a lot. Sorry. 😅

#4 Nocturna

I actually own two copies of this book because I happened to get them in two different book subscription boxes. One of the covers is red (see below), and the other one is the same but in blue. I cannot decide which one I like better! The crown on this one is a little bit more subtle but I love the cover art!

#5 The Guinevere Deception

I am such a sucker for everything related to mythology and legends. This is the first book in a series inspired by Arthurian legends, I’m actually reading the last installment in the trilogy at the moment! On top of that, this cover art is so badass and just stunning!
