Top 5 Tuesday: places to read

Hey, guys!
It’s Tuesday, which means it’s time for a bookish favorites post. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Meeghan over on Meeghan Reads and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
Today I get to tell you about all my favorite places in which I read!

#1 in bed

I’ll sometimes set my alarm a bit earlier just so I can get in some reading time before I have to get up. I’ll also try to read a little before going to sleep, but often I end up so tired that I don’t get too far then. In any case, my bed is definitely one of the comfiest places to read in.

#2 on the couch

As we all do, at some point I have to get up. On days when I don’t have to leave my apartment that essentially means relocating from my bed to my couch. Of course, I always keep whatever book I’m reading close by because being on the couch wrapped in a fluffy blanket is almost as nice as reading in bed!

#3 at the bus stop

I always try to sneak in some reading time whenever I can, even if it’s just 5-10 minutes. That means, you can always find me with a book in hand when I’m waiting for my bus to arrive.

#4 at the dinner/lunch table

I’ve mentioned this in the post on favorite reading snacks, but one thing I love about my e-reader is that I can just prop it up and read while I’m eating. So, more often than not, I’ll be going over a few pages while I’m having lunch or dinner.

#5 the bench outside my apartment

I moved somewhere new in 2020, and while I love my apartment this comes with another place super close by that I came to adore. In the middle of the street right outside, they have this wide boardwalk lined with trees and benches. I came here in fall when the weather was still amazing, so I spent a good chunk of my time sitting there, soaking up some sun and reading.
