This month, we’ve got some topics covering all my favorite things related to reading. To kick off this mini-series we’re going to talk about my favorite snacks for reading!
Popcorn is one of my all-time favorite snacks, whether it’s while watching a movie or reading. Oh, and it has to be salty popcorn. I’m really not a fan of the sweet and buttery versions.
Ever since I got an e-reader, I can snack on whatever I want without having to worry about staining the pages of the book my nose is buried in. You can never go wrong with chocolate no matter which kind. And even if my fingers get covered now, it’s no biggie ’cause the e-reader is easy to wipe down. 😅
I was absolutely heartbroken when I found out that the place I moved to in 2020 doesn’t have a Dunkin’ Donuts. All their stuff is amazing, preferably I would get something chocolate-filled! Again, this might be messy to eat while reading, but that’s a problem my e-reader solved.
Oatmeal is usually my go-to choice for breakfast – or for when it’s already late in the evening and I’m hungry again. I mean, late-night reading sessions, do require late-night snacks, am I right?
One of the best things about my e-reader is that I can just prop it up on my desk and read while still having both of my hands free. That means it allows me to read while I am eating dinner or lunch. I know that’s technically not a snack, but I pick up a book almost every time I sit down to eat a proper meal, so I had to include it. 😅
