Thursday Movie Picks: Psychics and Mediums

Hey, guys!
Welcome to another entry for Thursday Movie Picks.
It’s a series hosted by Wandering Through the Shelves, so if you want to join the party, head over to her blog! It’s pretty easy: check out each week’s topic and come up with 3 to 5 movies that fit the theme.
This week, we’re talking about films featuring psychics and mediums.

#1 The Gift

It’s been a very long time since I’ve last seen this film, but when I read the theme, this one was on top of my head. I do remember it being quite interesting!

#2 The Sixth Sense

I bet The Sixth Sense will be popular this week. It’s probably one of the most famous films that features a character with psychic powers.

#3 The Conjuring

And finally, we have The Conjuring which sparked a series of films and builds off of real life people. Ed and Lorraine Warren were paranormal investigators, with her being a self-professed medium.

What’s your favorite film psychics and mediums? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Aghhhh! I watched all the clips but the last one, the final 2 seconds made me jumop out of my seat!-LOL. I thought I would see The 6th Sense everywhere too which is why I didn’t choose it but you are the first one to use this film. I love it and I like the premise which is why I liked watching The Ghost Whisperer.. We match with The Gift which is excellent, in my humble opinion. I thought all the characters were well done even Hilary Swank whom I can’t get into. Keanu Reeves surprised me with how vile he is in this film.
