Hey, guys!
It’s Tuesday, which means it’s time for a bookish favorites post. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Meeghan over on Meeghan Reads and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
For our final October post we’re going to talk about some creepy and spooky book covers!
#1 Hocus Pocus
I put this on my tbr pile the moment it was announced and still haven’t read it. But the movie is a Halloween staple for me. The cover of the book is just delightfully wicked!
#2 Lovecraft Country
I still haven’t seen the show because I meant to read the book first, and then I never got around to doing that. 😅 The cover of the novel reminds me of things like Psycho, so it instantly gave me creepy vibes.
#3 We Have Always Lived in the Castle
Same as before, I heard there is a film, but oh book first. I don’t even know what the story is about but the cover is somehow unsettling. I can’t even put my finger on what it is precisely but something is spooking me here.
#4 Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
I know that I’ve mentioned these comics a million times before, but please just look at the cover! It was impossible to not include it this list. 😅
#5 Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children
I remember walking through a book store and immediately gravitating towards this novel. I bought it just because of the creepy cover alone!
