Hey, guys!
It’s Tuesday, which means it’s time for a bookish favorites post. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Meeghan over on Meeghan Reads and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
This month it’s all about covers. To kick things off, we’re going to discuss some novels with food on the cover. Out of all the posts this month, this one was actually the most difficult for me. As I was browsing my list of read books on Goodreads, I realized that I haven’t read a single book that fits the theme! So, I had to do some research…
#1 Twilight
I haven’t read those books nor is it likely that I ever will. However, when I read the topic, this was literally the first thing I had to think of!
#2 Julie and Julia
I haven’t read the book but I did watch the film a couple of years ago. It’s doubly fitting as there’s not only food on the cover, but it’s also about preparing food!
#3 Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs
Another one where I’m only familiar with the film! The adaptation of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs was pretty cute, so I assume the book is too!
#4 Green Eggs and Ham
I don’t think I have ever read a single Dr. Seuss book – which this one I don’t even have any idea what it’s about. I have heard the title mentioned before, but do I even want to know what green eggs are? 😂
#5 The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake
While I was looking up novels for today’s post, I came across this one. I knew nothing about it until like five minutes ago, but the story does sound really intriguing so I immediately added it to my tbr pile!

That cake looks delicious!! It’s making me want to go raid my freezer to see if we have any cake left 😂
