Top 5 Tuesday: Sequels I still need to get to

Hey, guys!
It’s Tuesday, which means it’s time for a bookish favorites post. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Meeghan over on Meeghan Reads and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
Last week I talked about some sequels coming out later this year that I’m really excited about. For the last Tuesday this month we get a freebie post, so I figured I’d cover some of the sequels I already have lying around but haven’t picked up yet!

#1 Bone Crier’s Dawn

I finished Bone Crier’s Moon during my Christmas break. At first I wasn’t sure if I loved it but soon I got drawn into the world and the expertly set-up cliffhanger definitely sealed the deal for me. I hope I have time to get started with the sequel soon!

#2 Namesake

Fable was such a fascinting, beautiful and short read. I already fell in love when I saw the cover and than was hooked by the story. Another great cliffhanger, so Namesake is pretty close to the top of my tbr pile!

#3 Blood & Honey and Gods & Monsters

Well, I had some issues with Serpent & Dove, but I’m always down for books about witches, you all know that by now. 😂 Naturally, I will have to read the two sequels. I’m so behind on everything there are already two more books for me to pick up!

#4 Reaper of Souls

Kingdom of Souls was so fascinating with the world-building and the whole mythology. I am so excited to read more stories taking place on the stage Barron has set!

#5 Oculta

Finally, Oculta. I quite enjoyed Nocturna and then forgot that there was supposed to be a sequel until I saw it in a window of a bookshop recently! Well, I definitely need to get to that soon.

What’s a sequel you still need to get to? Let me know in the comments!
