Top 5 Tuesday: Anticipated books for the rest of 2021

Hey, guys!
It’s Tuesday, which means it’s time for a bookish favorites post. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Meeghan over on Meeghan Reads and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
Today I’m going to talk about some books to be released later this year that I’m really looking forward to. I decided to do a little theme within the theme and only picked sequels to stuff I read recently!

#1 Kingdom of the Cursed (Kingdom of the Wicked #2)

Kingdom of the Wicked was so good! I cannot wait for the sequel and hope that I will actually be released this year.

#2 The Excalibur Curse (Camelot Rising #3)

I completely devoured the first two books in the series. You have no idea how happy I am that the third installment is coming out relatively quick!

#3 The Night of Demons and Saints: A Novel (Sisters Grimm #2)

I loved the idea behind Sisters Grimm and finished the novel in record time. I wasn’t sure whether there would be a sequel, but as Goodreads told, not only is there one, it’s also coming out later this year!

#4 The Hollow Heart (The Midnight Lie #2)

When I picked up The Midnight Lie, I thought it’s a standalone book. It actually would have worked pretty well as that up until the final couple of chapters. Now I need more and thankfully the next book is coming out soon!

#5 The Last Graduate (The Scholomance #2)

Talking of books that I thought were standlones. 😂
A Deadly Education was a standalone to me all the way up until the end. It’s only with the last freaking sentence that Novik set things up for the which is both evil and genious. Can I have the next book right now please?

What’s a release you’re looking forward to this year? Let me know in the comments!
