Top 5 Tuesday: graphic novels

Hey, guys!
It’s Tuesday, which means it’s time for a bookish favorites post. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Meeghan over on Meeghan Reads and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
Today we’ll talk about some cool graphic novels!

#1 Scott Pilgrim vs. The World

I may have had some initial problems with this series but ended up enjoying Scott Pilgrim vs. The World tremendously!

#2 Watchmen

So, I saw the Watchmen TV show (was brilliant!) but had a few questions about the whole thing. Picking up the original Watchmen graphic novel (to which the show is basically a sequel) helped me out a lot! It’s such a fascinating story!

#3 V for Vendetta

I don’t read too many comics and graphic novels, so this list is a bit Alan Moore heavy. So many of his works were adapted into movies or shows, so I ended up checking out a lot of them.
V for Vendetta was super intriguing and I loved how many popcultural references it included!

#4 From Hell

So, Jack the Ripper. I might have a slight fascination with that topic and read a bunch of non-fiction books on the topic. Naturally I had to check out this graphic novel. Although it was a tad hard to follow at times, it also gave so much intersting info!

#5 Hellblazer

Finally, meet John Constantine, a total bastard. I enjoyed this so much! He might be a bastard but I did like him and couldn’t wait to here more about his adventures!
