Hey, guys!
It’s Tuesday, that means it’s time for a bookish favorites posts. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Meeghan over on Meeghan Reads and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
In perfect Halloween fashion, we’ll talk about some truly creepy characters today!
#1 Pennywise from It
Pennywise is the father of all creepy characters designed to haunt your nightmares. I read the book a while ago and every rendition of “It” we get in the novel is truly horrifying.
#2 Patrick Bateman from American Psycho
Gosh, I really disliked this book. After reading more of Bret Easton Ellis’ novels I realized that I just can’t deal with his writing in general. Nevertheless, Bateman certainly gave me the creeps!
#3 Dracula from Dracula
Probably the most famous buy on my list, Dracula lurking in the dark hallways of a castle in the middle of nowhere is definitely creepy!
#4 President Snow from The Hunger Games
I haven’t read the prequel book yet but President Snow from the original Hunger Games novels is definitely downright awful. His behavior is chilling and I wouldn’t want to be in a room with him.
#5 Jean Baptist Grenouille from Perfume
A good number of chapters from Perfume made my skin crawl. Every single aspect of the protagonist is creepy in some way shape or form and reading this book once was enough to scar me for life.

I forgot all about President Snow when I did mine – he is definitely creepy!

Jean Baptist is definitely up there! It annoyed me how the film tried to make him more sympathetic.
