Top 5 Tuesday: Witches

Hey, guys!
It’s Tuesday, that means it’s time for a bookish favorites posts. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Meeghan over on Meeghan Reads and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
Halloween is almost here and today I get to talk about books with witches. I’m super excited as I love witches, so let’s get down to it!

#1 Manon from the Throne of Glass Books

I am SOOOOO excited for a chance to talk about Manon. Out of all the amazing characters in the Throne of Glass books, she is the most badass and my favorite. She’s one of the coolest witches of all time.

#2 Lou from Serpent & Dove

I am a little late to this fandom and there are some issues I have with the book (review coming soon). Nevertheless, I was intrigued by the concept of magic and witches introduced here. Lou is an amazing character and I’ve grown to like her so much!

#3 Minerva McGonagall from the Harry Potter Books

I strive to be like McGonagall when I’m older. She’s amazing in so many regards. Not only is she a powerful and skilled witch, but she’s also an amazing teacher, tolerates no bullshit, and simply gets stuff done.

#4 Serafina Pekkala from the His Dark Materials Books

It’s been a hot minute since I read the His Dark Materials novels but I still remember Serafina Pekkala (and even spelled it correctly on the first try!). I watched the movie first, so in my head, Serafina always looked like Eva Green from the film, which means stunning.

#5 A character I haven’t met yet from A Deadly Education

Hear me out. I got this book in a subscription box earlier this month but haven’t had the time to read it yet. It’s about witches and the cover is so freaking beautiful, I am convinced I will love it.
