Top 5 Tuesday: Black and Orange

Hey, guys!
It’s Tuesday, that means it’s time for a bookish favorites posts. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Meeghan over on Meeghan Reads and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
As it’s October, this month is full of spooky-themed, Halloween appropriate topics. For today, I went through my Goodreads list of read books, to find some amazing picks with black and orange covers!

#1 Rosemary’s Baby

My first pick is actually perfect for Halloween. You probably know the famous (and iconic) horror movie with Mia Farrow, but before Rosemary’s Baby hit the screen it was a book!

#2 Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

Early this year, I discovered the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina comics. I loved them soooo much and almost every one of the covers is orange(ish) and black! The one I included here is issue #5.

#3 Hellblazer

The same goes for the Hellblazer comics. A bunch of them have covers that fit today’s theme but issue #45 kind of jumped at me! John Constantine is one of my favorite antiheroes and I had a great time reading the comics, watching the show, and rewatching the movie.

#4 Ruin and Rising

The designs for the Grishaverse trilogy are beyond stunning. All three books are extremely beautiful and I am glad that one fits the theme so I can include it here!

#5 The Red Pyramid

Finally, this list wouldn’t be complete with at least one Rick Riordan novel. There are actually a couple with orange/black covers but I opted for one of his lesser-known series. The Kane Chronicles (The Red Pyramid is the first book on the trilogy) deals with Egyptian mythology and was a hell of a ride to read.

What’s your favorite book with an orange and black cover? Let me know in the comments!
