Top 5 Tuesday: Cute Romances

Hey, guys!
It’s Tuesday, that means it’s time for a bookish favorites posts. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Shanah Bionic Book Worm and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
This week’s topic is a real challenge for me. As I don’t really read romance books, it’s not easy for me to come up with a list of 5 cute romance books. Well, after browsing a list of popular cute romance novels on Goodreads I realized that I actually did read quite some of those books!

#1 The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

This is the only John Green book I ever liked. I actually ended up hating everything else I read by him with the fire of a thousand sons. However, TFIOS was really pretty cute.

#2 Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda

I loved just everything about this book. Especially the music mentioned throughout went immediately to my current favorites playlist. The relationship that develops between Simon and the mysterious guy he has a correspondence with went straight to my heart.

#3 Everything, Everything

Well, many people love this book – I was rather underwhelmed. It was rather cheesy and foreseeable but we have a shortage of romance novels on my list of read books, so here we are!

#4 Heartless

Oh, Marissa Meyer broke my heart with this. It is a wonderful book inspired by Alice in Wonderland and I loved every bit of it. The love story is also just great, well, until it dawns on you how this is going to end.

#5 A Court of Thorns and Roses

I gobbled up the entire ACOTAR series although I didn’t love the first book so much. The romance between Feyre and Rhysand (Tamlin who?!) is certainly one for the ages!
