Top 5 Tuesday: Top 5 Series I want to start!

Hey, guys!
It’s Tuesday, that means it’s time for a bookish favorites posts. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Shanah Bionic Book Worm and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
After last week’s post about popular books I haven’t read yet, today I bring you some famous book series I also still need to get to!

#1 Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco

How is it possible that a book series with Jack the Ripper in the title is out there and I haven’t read it yet?!

#2 The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare

I still haven’t read anything by Cassandra Clare, although I always mean to pick up one of her books. This year, I will get to it!

#3 The Illuminae Files by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

I’ve seen this one mentioned in other people’s T5T posts so many times! I am really curious about The Illuminae files and will make sure to check it out.

#4 Gentleman Bastard by Scott Lynch

Again, this one was brought to me by T5T! The story sounds interesting and right down my alley. Already sits on my e-reader waiting for me to make time.

#5 The Parasol Protectorate by Gail Carriger

And finally, a book series I heard about ages ago. I was fascinated by the cover art, so it’s been on my to-read-list on Goodreads since – well – I’ve had Goodreads.
