Hey, guys!
It’s Tuesday, that means it’s time for a bookish favorites posts. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Shanah Bionic Book Worm and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
Things are pretty insane at the moment, so we’ll kick this month’s T5T posts off with some things to do to stay sane!
#1 – Baking/Cooking
This is something I’ve always loved to do. As I’m not really allowed to leave the house at the moment, I have plenty of time to try new recipes and also work on stuff that would usually be too time-consuming.
And I get to eat everything I concocted!
#2 – Getting Crafty
Similar to #1, I’ve always enjoyed knitting, painting, crochet and stuff like that. However, those things are really time-consuming, so there are projects I kept putting off. Now is the time to do them!
Furthermore, I mended all the little tears and holes in my clothes that I just kept ignoring forever.
By the way, this also goes wonderfully with #4!
#3 – Reading
This one is a no-brainer. Of course, reading is one of the perfect things to do, now that I’m stuck inside. If you can’t venture out into the real world, why not take a trip to a world trapped between pages?
#4 – Binge-Watching
No surprises here! I’ve always been binge-watching stuff, just now I have even more time to do that. I’m almost done watching Supernatural!
By the way, I love pairing binge-watching with some other activity as I’m no good at sitting still for too long. So, most of the time I’m either gaming, knitting or working out while watching something.
#5 Working Out
You don’t need a lot of stuff to get in a good workout! I’ve been working out at home for ages now and it’s great. Just put on your favorite show and get down on your mat!
What are your sanity savers? Let me know in the comments!

Aside from crafting which I’m garbage at, I’ve been doing these things too.

Pingback: Top 5 Things I’m Enjoying While In Isolation – Bionic Book Worm
That just reminded me that my son asked for brownies yesterday lol! I wish I knew how to knit! It’s probably so soothing. I was going to get my mom to teach me but…… isolation happened.

I would totally send you some, hadn’t I finshed off the entire tray within two days. 🙈

I have been doing some baking and some running too but I have less time than I have ever had before as I am working full time from home and my three year old son is home with me as well.

Catching up on all the other T5T posts, better late than never, eh?! 😉
I’m glad Shanah is still doing these topics this months, we all need some happy distractions at the moment. Those brownies look delicious! I’m enjoying all the reading time but I’m also loving watching TV with my family.
Stay safe & healthy. x
