Hey, guys!
It’s Tuesday, that means it’s time for a bookish favorites posts. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Shanah Bionic Book Worm and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
This month, we’re doing a special, listing our favorite authors in alphabetical order. Today, it’s time for letter K, L, M, N, and O!
This week has probably been the hardest one for me to choose, so here you have some honorable mentions: Sarah J. Maas, Alan Moore, Derek Landy!
#1 Stephen King
The father of modern horror, Stephen King. He came up with some of the most iconic scary tales ever, so naturally, he had to be on my list!
#2 Stieg Larsson
If you haven’t read the Millennium books yet, drop everything and do so right now. It’s okay, I’ll wait.
The novels are absolutely brilliant and I couldn’t put them down.
#3 George R. R. Martin
What Stephen King is for horror, George R. R. Martin is for fantasy in my regard. I can’t help but marvel at the magnificence that is A Song of Ice and Fire, so please hurry up and drop the next books.
#4 John Niven
I’ve read a good portion of John Niven’s bibliography and loved every single one I’ve gotten my hands on so far. They are beyond hilarious, so make sure to check them out.
#5 Marissa Meyer
Oh, how I loved the Lunar Chronicles books. I can’t wait to read the Renegades novels as well. Meyer has such a great style of writing that makes it impossible to put the books down.
