Hey, guys!
It’s Tuesday, that means it’s time for a bookish favorites posts. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Shanah Bionic Book Worm and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
Let me show you some books I definitely need to get to in 2020!
#1 – The Witcher series by Andrzej Sapkowski
After I binged the show (hello my new favorite ship Geralt x Jaskier) and finished the first game, I decided to give the books a shot as well. The show was very confusing in terms of timelines, so I figured the novels should help me figure things out. There’s only eight of them, so why not?
#2 – Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco
I’ve wanted to read this book for ages but somehow never had time. Well, it’s on my e-reader now, so fingers crossed!
#3 – Serpent and Dove by Shelby Mahurin
This one is sitting on my shelf after I got it in a book subscription box. I’ve heard nothing but positive things about the novel, so I really hope I can get to it this year!
#4 – Rebecca by Daphne de Maurier
Did you know that I was named after this book? I know, there’s no excuse for not having read it yet but there was always something else that got in the way. The Hitchcock adaptation was and I am really curious about the book!
#5 – Anything by Cassandra Clare (finally!)
If you look back on my other T5T posts, you’ll see that I already named her books at this very same post last year. Well, didn’t have time in 2019 but I’ll give it another try this year!
What books are on your list for 2020? Let me know in the comments!

Geralt & Jaskier ❤
Amazon had the first Witcher book on a daily deal for £0.99 last month so I got it straight away, although I'm yet to read it!

The Last Wish (the first/prequel book) is compromised of short stories and it’s surprisingly funny. Maybe you’ll give it a go after all 😉

I need to read more in 2020 in General. I still have Fire and Blood, which I bought when it first came out and I haven’t read it yet.

I have so many books here I got from book subscription boxes and haven’t touched yet. I feel kind of guilty.
