Hey, guys!
It’s Tuesday, that means it’s time for a bookish favorites posts. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Shanah Bionic Book Worm and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
This week, I’ll share some of the amazing books I have waiting for me!
#1 The Merciful Crow
By now a few books from subscription boxes like Fairyloot and Illumicrated have piled up. I was so busy with other things that I didn’t have the time to read most of them. However, I really want to get started with them, as all of those books look absolutely gorgeous and the stores sound fascinating.
Therefore, my first pick is Ther Merciful Crow. Just look at that cover!
#2 Serpent and Dove
The same goes for Serpent and Dove. I love the books from subscription boxes so much because they always come as complete surprises to me. Usually, I’ve never heard of the author and I don’t look up the reviews on Goodreads once I know what the book of the month will be. I got Serpent and Dove only recently, but I know that it’s about witches so I’m sure I’ll love it.
#3 The Storm Crow
Magic, intrigues, mysteries, rivaling kingdoms, badass princesses. The premise of this book is so promising, it just has to be good. I’m annoyed with myself that I haven’t had time yet to pick it up because I’m really excited about this one!
#4 Hemlock Grove
A couple of months ago I started watching the adaptation on Netflix and as soon as I learned there is a book, I ordered it. Well, this time it’s not my fault that I haven’t read it yet. It seems the manufacturer has some problems as I still haven’t received my copy. Anyways, I want to read this asap, so I hope they ship it soon!
#5 Bonefire
I already have Bonefire at home. But I wanted to read all my subscription books first and you already know how well that went. I am curious, however, to find out whether Krysten Ritter is as talented a writer as she is an actress!

No matter which blog I visit, Serpent & Dove is EVERYWHERE! I hope you’ll enjoy it once you get to it. And not gonna lie, I really enjoy the cover art for Hemlock Grove. I had no idea it was a book either, but I haven’t watched the show yet anyway.

I finished watching the show last week and am a bit disappointed how that turned out. So, now I’m even more curious to see what happens in the book.

Oh yeah, didn’t it get cancelled prematurely?

They did 3 season and it continually gets weirder and just worse. I was so annoyed ’cause I was really rooting for the show after season 1 even despite the mixed reviews 😦

Oh no, I hate when that happens! Hopefully the book will give you closure.

I never realized Hemlock Grove was based on a book. I haven’t read any of these unfortunately.

My TBR pile is magic – it keeps growing no matter how many books I read off of it. We are slaves to our TBR piles, aren’t we?! Lol! Great List.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your week. Here’s my Top 5 Tuesday Post

The Storm Crow is on my TBR too (though it didn’t make my T5T) I loved the cover so I preordered it but haven’t read it yet
