Top 5 Tuesday: Main Males

Hey, guys!
It’s Tuesday, that means it’s time for a bookish favorites posts. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Bionic Book Worm and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
Today I’ll share my top 5 male book characters. I tried not to go with the most obvious choices. 😉

#1 Dustfinger from the Inkworld Books

I keep mentioning the Inkworld books for these posts but honestly, they are too brilliant not to! Dustfinger had my heart from the very first moment he appeared on the pages. Just read the books, you’ll know what I mean.

#2 Remus Lupin from the Harry Potter Books

There are many great characters to be found in the Harry Potter books. Well, my favorite will forever be Remus Lupin. Not only was he the best Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, but he is also such a warm and compassionate character!

#3 Magnus Chase from the Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard Books

I didn’t want to go with the most obvious choice here, so I didn’t pick Percy Jackson (although he is great). Magnus Chase is also a funny and witty guy who you just want to be friends with. Definitely one of the best!

#4 Mark Watney from The Martian

To me, Mark Watney is the most brilliant and the smartest character out there. The book is so fascinating and I was deeply impressed with how inventive Watney was.

#5 Kaz Brekker from the Six of Crows Duology

I only just finished reading this book, but I’m already in love with all the characters in there. Kaz is such a dark soul with so many layers to his personality. I am mesmerized by him and can’t wait to read Crooked Kingdom!

Who is your favorite male character? Let me know in the comments!
