Top 5 Tuesday: Summer Time Reads

Hey, guys!
It’s Tuesday, that means it’s time for a bookish favorites posts. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Bionic Book Worm and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
Today I’ll share what’s on my reading list for summer!

#1 You

The Netflix show keeps popping up in my recommendations, but I really want to read the book first. The story about a stalker seems both scary and fascinating, so it’s a must read for me!

#2 Aurora Rising

After I’ve seen it mentioned for a variety of topics on several blogs for the T5T posts, I added Aurora Rising to my to-read list. The cover is so beautiful, I fell in love at first sight. I hope the book is as good as everybody promises!

#3 Stalking Jack the Ripper

I know it’s weird, but I’ve been oddly fascinated by Jack the Ripper for ages. This book is also one that gets mentioned regularly for T5T posts. I saw the title and knew I had to read it. Hope to get around doing that soon!

#4 Wonder Woman: Warbringer

I already read Catwoman: Soulstealer of the DC Icons series and enjoyed that quite a bit. After I finish watching all Marvel movies, I want to get started with the DC Universe films and, of course, also read the other Icons books.

#5 Caraval

Caraval is one of the books about which I only heard positive stuff. Since the final installment in the series is about to be released, it’s definitely time for me to get started with these books!

Which book is on your summer reading list? Let me know in the comments!

  2. Caraval has been sitting in my Kindle for a while now, I really should pick it up :/ I read You and if I’m being honest, the show did a really good job at capturing the essence of the book. Both are worth a try 🙂
