Top 5 Tuesday: Magical Creatures

Hey, guys!
It’s Tuesday, that means it’s time for a bookish favorites posts. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Bionic Book Worm and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
Let’s see about my favorite magical creatures!

#1 Ironteeth Witches

I’ve been a sucker for witches since I was a kid. My favorite witch was featured in Sarah J. Maas’ Throne of Glass series. While the Ironteeth Witches are absolutely amazing in general, Manon Blackbeak is my most beloved character of the entire book series.

#2 Gods

Those of you who visit my blog more often will know by now that I always get excited about Rick Riordan‘s novels. I’ve harbored a fascination for Greek myths since I was a teen so picking up his books was a natural choice for me. The way Riordan depicts the Gods is smart and hilarious, always a delight to read about.

#3 Gandalf

If there ever was a magical creature that had sass, then it was certainly Gandalf. His comments are brilliant and he’s a wizard, thus absolutely qualified for this week’s list.

#4 Everything in the Harry Potter Universe:

The Harry Potter books are always worth a re-read. J. K. Rowling came up with so many amazing and magical creatures, I can’t even pick one. Some are just beautiful and scary (dragons), others are outright adorable (nifflers).

#5 Amren

When I was thinking about SJM’s books, I also thought of the ACOTAR novels. Amren is a creature from who knows which kind of world or universe. She has amazing powers and I just love that the sheer mention of her name makes grown men pee their pants.

What’s your favorite magical creature? Let me know in the comments!
