Hey, guys!
It’s Tuesday, that means it’s time for a bookish favorites posts. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Bionic Book Worm and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
Let’s see about some books I need to pick up another time!
#1 The Cruel Prince and The Wicked King by Holly Black
I binge-read the first two books in Holly Black’s The Folk of The Air Trilogy. The story was capturing, so of course, I am excited for the next part to arrive. However, I will need to reread The Cruel Prince and The Wicked King to get back into the story before Queen of Nothing is released!
#2 Lean In: Women, Work and the Will to Lead
First of all, I think this is a book that every woman (and man for that matter) should read. Although I don’t re-read books often, I find myself flipping through the pages quite often. It’s a steady reminder of how far we’ve already come but that at the same time we are still not even close to the end.
#3 A Song of Ice and Fire Series
I read all of the books right after binging season four and was excited that the next part, Winds of Winter, was supposed to be released soon. In case George R. R. Martin ever finishes that damn book, I will need to go through the entire series again, as there are so many things I don’t remember properly. Also, lots of stuff is different in the show, that doesn’t really help to clarify the stuff I remember. Back to the books, it is!
#4 Harry Potter:
The Harry Potter books are always worth a re-read. For me, there is one big advantage: I pretty much know exactly what is going on in each chapter. So when I wanted to work on my French, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone was the first book I picked up. I don’t have to look up much of the vocab, as I already know what they are talking about. Therefore, I am also planning to give the rest of the series a re-read in French. I already finished all the books in German and English.
#5 Inkheart
If there ever was a book (series) that gave me a fuzzy warm feeling deep down, it’s this one. Cornelia Funke created the ultimate story for everybody who loves to read. I was extremely sad to part with the characters, so I will definitely do a re-read!

ASOIAF is so great to reread because it can be so confusing!

When I re-watched the show I discovered so many details I missed the first time. I expect it to be the same with the books 🙂

I think I might re-read the Game of Thrones books once the show is over, I’ll need to fill that void!
