Hey, guys!
It’s Tuesday, that means it’s time for a bookish favorites posts. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Bionic Book Worm and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
Let’s see about some sequels I really need to pick up!
#1 Tomorrow When the War Began – Darkness, be my Friend:
Several years ago, I read the first three books in the series. The story was extremely intriguing, so I don’t know why I never finished it. As it’s been so long, I also need to give novels 1-3 a re-read before continuing!
#2 The Hitchhiker’s Guide to Galaxy – So long and thanks for the Fish:
With Douglas Adams’ famous book series I only managed to read a book every couple of years. That means I never got any further than book #3. I’d love to reading this and I’m really excited about So long and thanks for the Fish!
#3 The Folk of the Air – The Queen of Nothing:
I recently finished devouring the first two books in Holly Black’s The Folk of the Air series and I. Am. So. Thrilled!!! Just like many of my fellow bloggers out there, I just can’t wait for the next installment, The Queen of Nothing, to be published!
#4 Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children – A Map of Days:
The Miss Peregrine books by Ransom Riggs are absolutely amazing. A new part was released last year but didn’t have the time yet, to pick it up. However, A Map of Days will be read very soon!
#5 The Umbrella Academy – Hotel Oblivion:
After binge-watching the Netflix show Umbrella Academy, I went to check out the comics it is based on. Those are the brainchild of Gerard Way (whom you might remember as the singer of My Chemical Romance). I read the first two Umbrella Academy comics in an afternoon. Unfortunately, my local library didn’t have the third part. I’d love to read that!
Which sequel do you need to read? Let me know in the comments!
