It’s Tuesday, that means it’s time for a bookish favorites posts. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Bionic Book Worm and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
Romantic Reads are a bit of a challenge for me, as I’m not a huge romance reader. Anyways, let’s make this work!
#1 Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda:
I know this is not exactly a new book, however, I only got around reading it recently. If this is not one of the cutest love stories ever, then I honestly don’t know. It’s just the kind of book you really want to hug. Simon mailing back and worth with blue and finally discovering his identity was an amazing read. Favorite love story ever!
Another book I only recently picked up. You might have figured out by now that I like Marissa Meyer’s novels. With Heartless I had no idea what to expect but I found one of my favorite couples ever. Catherine is super relatable and I’d love to have a guy like Jest in my life!
#3 The Wicked King:
This doesn’t exactly scream romance but hear me out! The dynamic between Jude and Cardan has me hooked. They are not your regular couple and their relationship is certainly not too healthy. But I am so fascinated (and I can’t wait to find out where they will end up)!
#4 The Fault in Our Stars:
Okay, the more John Green books I read, the more I dislike anything that he ever came up with. The Fault in Our Stars was the first of his novels that I read and it’s the only one I actually enjoyed. It is cheesy at times but Hazel and Augustus are just so adorable together!
#5 Anything by Sarah J. Maas:
It’s no secret that I loved both the ACOTAR and TOG books by SJM. I had my problems with some aspects but one thing that is integral to all of her books is a great love story. So many couples to ship: Feysand, Manorian, Rowaelin, …
Which romance novel is your favorite? Let me know in the comments!
