Top 5 Tuesday: Fictional Friendships

Hey, guys!
It’s Tuesday, that means it’s time for a bookish favorites posts. Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Bionic Book Worm and is quite simple: check out the topic and write a post with your picks.
This week all introduce you to my favorite bookish besties!

#1 The Illyrian Babies in the ACOTAR-Series:

Rhy, Cassian, and Azriel. Not only are they amazing characters on their own, they also have this brilliant friendship. Everything about them gives me a fluffy warm feeling in my ovaries.

#2 Ron, Hermione and Harry from the Harry Potter books:

They are top-notch friendship goals. Not only do I love the fact that every one of them brings something different to the table but they still are a great match. I also recognize myself a lot in Hermione and really wish I had friends like that!

#3 Magnus and the rest of the gang from the Magnus Chase books:

Rick Riordan is a god when it comes to creating fictional friendships. I could have put this list together with only characters from his books. However, I tried hard to restrain myself and only named two of his novels. The group of friends in the Magnus Chase books is extremely diverse: a deaf elf, a genderfluid person, a Muslim girl, a dwarf … and Magnus. Despite all their differences, they support each other and lift each other up!

#4 Apollo and Meg from The Trials of Apollo series:

As we were speaking of Rick Riordan… The Trials of Apollo feature the god Apollo trapped in the body of a teenaged boy who teams up with Meg, a super sassy and headstrong girl. They are adorable and hilarious and I love them!

#5 Sam and Frodo from The Lord of the Rings series:

The guys from The Lord of the Rings books are like the original group of friends that we all are jealous of. I’m sure Tolkien inspired tons of fictional friendship over the years. Especially the relationship between Sam and Frodo warms my heart so much!

Tell me about your favorite fictional group of friends!

  2. Great choices! I love the entire Inner Circle from ACOTAR. I wish I could make friends like that…
And Ron, Hermione and Harry are such a good example. Their friendship is another one I love a lot.
