Thursday Movie Picks – Television Edition: Comedies

Hello, my lovely readers!
Welcome to the last Thursday Movie Picks installment by Wandering through the Shelves for this years. It’s a TV edition, so let’s talk about my favorite funny shows!

Ash vs. Evil Dead:
This is probably the most hilarious show ever. Maybe you know the original Evil Dead movies. Bruce Campbell reprised the leading role of Ash Williams for this show. I’ve never laughed so hard than I did with this super groovy horror comedy show.

Lucifer:
This might not be the first show that comes to mind when talking about comedies, but Lucifer Morningstar has a brilliant sense of humor. Apart from the thoughtful moments of the show, Lucifer offers some really funny lines!

Black Adder:
It’s a classic. Over the course of four seasons, Rowan Atkinson built one of the most amazing comedies of all time. If you haven’t seen it yet, then please go ahead and check it out. I promise you won’t regret it!

    • With Lucifer you really have to catch the right episodes. I totally get why some people don’t like the show at all. Let me know how you liked Ash vs. The Evil Dead if you decide to check it out! 😀

  1. I love Bruce Campbell especially in Bristol County….you can always count on him for something fun. This show I never have a thought because of the evilness and gore but it looks so funny especially the corset scene:). I never watched Lucifer but maybe I will give it a shot because it does look funny in parts. Black Adder is a show I know of but never had the ability to watch. Rowan Atkinson is so funny.
