The FRIENDS Tag: TV-Shows

Hi everybody!
During the last few days I spent my time thinking about something new I could come up with. Well, I’ve seen many amazing book tags floating around and often ended up thinking “hey, I would be so much fun to do this with movies or TV shows!”.
So, what I plan to today is a series of adapted tags! Beside my regular posts you will see some book, movie and TV shows tags on my blog. I’d love my readers to pick up those tag and answer the questions themselves!
The first one I’m about to adapt is the Friends tag. Ironically I’ve never seen the show!
So here we go =)

The One where Eddie Won’t Go – a character I wish would just go away: 
This answer might surprise you. The one character that really annoyed me is Aleksandr Petrovsky from Sex and the City. I’ve never been that fond of the show altogether but stumbled upon the finally a few weeks ago on TV. I watched the last three episodes and kept thinking, why on earth is Carrie doing that. That guy is just self-centered, ignorant and arrogant from head to toe, and doesn’t give a damn about her. Aleksandr, please just fuck off.

 

The One where Ross and Rachel Take a Break – favorite break up scene:
Doctor Who has the best break-up scenes. Whenever he parts with a companion it simply rips my heart out. The English people know how to do drama!

 

The One with all the Kissing – a TV show with lots of “kissing”:
American Horror Story – especially the last season. There’s not only a lot of kissing, they take it a step further aswell. For some reason AHS makes it work in combination with all the blood, gore and horror.

 

The Last One – favorite series finale:
Easy to answer: Breaking Bad. The entire show was brilliant and the last two episodes topped it perfectly.
We binged watched our way through all five season and it just got better and better. I was soooo excited to finally see the finale everybody was talking about. Let me tell you, Breaking Bad didn’t disappoint me!

 

The One with a Blackout – a show or season I’d like to forget:
Everything that happened in Dexter after season #5. I really loved the show. It was funny, smart, but also dark. Such an amazing and entertaining show. But from season 6 on it all went downhill. To be honest the only reason I even finished watching the entire show is because I was hoping to better that it might get better again. Spoiler: it doesn’t.

 

The One where Chandler can’t Cry – a show that did not make you as emotional as others:
Grey’s Anatomy. I know many people love this one and cry their eyes out after every episode. But I can’t stand this show. I tried watching it (several times actually) but I’m not able to get into that whole emotional thing!

 

The One with the Thumb – a recent show that you would give two thumbs up to:
I have two thumbs so I’m gonna give a shout-out to two shows!
Vikings just started with a new season and I love this show. The adapted a bunch of historical facts and built an intriguing series around it. It’ thrilling and I end up reading about the real history bits after every episode!

The second show I recently got into is The X-Files. They also launched a new season and I decided to give it a shot. I haven’t seen any of the old episodes yet but as I really enjoy the current one, I will check those out soon!

 

The One with the Ick Factor – a show with a pet peeve:
Married with children. I don’t get the entire I hate my wife, my kids and my entire life thing. I really dislike the way Ed talks to all of them. Get your shit together man!

 

The One with the Lesbian Wedding – favorite LGBTQ character in a TV show:
I think I’ll go with Cosima from Orphan Black. She is gay but I like the show for not making this her only point. She’s also a scientist and brilliant. That more important than her orientation. In many other shows they don’t get the focus right when it comes to LGBTQ. But in Orphan Black they nailed it.

 

I’m not sure whether I should nomiate anyone. Let me just say Lisi Ledbetter, Abbi, Vinnieh: I’d love to see your take on this tag 😉
