Me from A to Z (part 2)

This is the second part of the “Me from A to Z” series! You can check out part 1 right here.

As I posted this back in 2015, I updated a few things in this posts – so you’re getting the 2019 status right now!

I – Inside Jokes: I’m pretty sure whoever has to listen to me and my friends must think that we are all nuts. Sometimes our conversations exist almost exclusively of inside jokes. As ridiculous as it is, I love it. The jokes may be totally stupid, but never fail to make me smile.

J – June: I couldn’t think of anything cool or interesting for the letter J, so I chose June, the month I was born in. I always liked it, almost summer but not yet too hot. During university my excitement over June has been ebbing. It’s when all the exams for the summer semester take place meaning that it’s nothing but stress and I hardly ever get to leave the house. Plus it usually means that I can’t spend my birthday at home nor celebrate it at all. With an exam coming up the next day you’re not in the mood for a party.

K – Kitchen: My favourite room! I love to cook and to bake so the kitchen is the place to be for me. Whenever I’m at a home center I glance longingly at all those amazing kitchens with all the appliances a cook could ever dream of.

L – Louise Belcher: She quickly rose to my favourite cartoon character of all time. Louise Belcher from Bob’s Burgers is the most badass girl on TV, there’s nothing better than her sarcastic phrases.

M – Martin, George R. R.: I finished the “A Song of Ice and Fire” series a while ago and can’t wait for the next part to be released. At first I was rather hostile towards this whole “Game of Thrones” thing but then a friend convinced me to check it out and I was instantly hooked. George R. R. Martin is an amazing writer and the world he created is so rich of details it’s almost unbelievable.

N – Nickname: This part goes along with the inside Jokes. I’m constantly making up stupid  nicknames not only for my friends but for basically everything. It’s a miracle that outsider can even understand me. But I love it. Even though it’s stupid I enjoy it.

O – Outside: For most of my life I’ve been a couch potato, only leaving the house when I really have to. But within the last years I discovered nature for me. I have no idea how I managed to overlook its beauty for so many years. By now I’m taking walks, going snowboarding, cycling and even hiking (I pretty sure nobody would have ever thought that I’d do that).

P – Photos: When I was looking through my old photos last year I decided that I have to capture more moments I enjoy. And by now my walls are filled with photos. This is something everybody should do. Whenever I look through my room I am reminded of all the great moments and amazing memories I connect with the photos.

Q – Quentin Tarantino: He’s one of my favourite directors. I even wrote about his film for my school-leaving examination. By now I liked every movie he made, which is really special because I’m rather critical when it comes to that. But his movies are somehow different and it always feels like he really puts his heart into it and wouldn’t want to be doing anything else.
